Problem Note 50262: The error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" in SAS® Enterprise Guide® 5.1 might occur after Hot Fix G35007 is applied

Running SAS Enterprise Guide 5.1 after Hot Fix G35007 (or later) has been applied might result in an error if you have multiple SAS® Metadata Server connection profiles available with different application server context names. The problem occurs when you switch between active metadata servers and attempt to connect to server contexts with different names:

Workaround
Select a new metadata server profile. Exit from SAS Enterprise Guide 5.1 and then restart it.Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
